CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, NOVEMBER 30, 1972
The Board of Public Works & Safety of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular
session November 30, 1972 at the hour of 9:00 a.m. in the Board of Works room of
the Municipal Building in said City. Mr. Benner presided with Miss Wyneg a' present.
Mr. Judge was absent. The following business was had to-wit:
Miss Wynegar moved to approve the minutes of the previous meeting, seconded by Mr.
Benner and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried.
Miss Wynegar presented a letter sent to Ronald Denton requesting his attendance at
the Board of Public Works & Safety meeting scheduled for Thursday, November 30,
1972, at 9:00 a.m. Mr. Denton was advised that the was charged with neglect of duty
pursuant to Burns Indiana Statutes 48-6105. Mr. Denton was also advised that the
purpose of his attendance at the meeting on November 30, 1972, would be to determine
whether he desired to have a hearing on the charge ofneglect of duty, or waive his
right to a hearing.
Since Mr. Denton did not appear at the meeting, Mr. Benner moved to set a public
hearing date of December 14, 1972 at 9:30 a.m. , seconded by Miss Wynegar and
unanimously carried.
Miss Wynegar reported that the problem of trash at the property owned by Mr. Sasser
located at Elm and 19th Streets will be brought up at the next meeting of the Sani-
tary Commissioners.
Mr. Benner commented on the new Street Department Garage saying that it was still
a bargain for the taxpayers and that through the industrious efforts of the Street
Commissioner, Elmer Toschlog, a shell of a building was turned into something
beneficial .
Miss Wynegar called a special meeting of the Board of Public Works & Safety for
Friday, December 2, 1972 at 2:30 p.m. for the purpose of considering budget transfers.
There being no further business on motion duly made, seconded and passed, the meet-
ing was adjourned.
