Article A. Purpose The City of Crestview (CLIENT) has seen significant population growth in recent years and this has lead to increase need for recreation facilities. The project is located at Brookmeade Park on Brookmeade Drive. The Okaloosa County Parcel ID number: • 28-3N-23-0000-0011-0000. The parcel is 17.92 acres. The property listed above is either owned by the Client or is under contract to purchase. Article B. Scope of Services Introduction The purpose of Task Order 2022-01 is to authorize DAG Architects, Inc. (DAG) to provide architectural serviced for the skate board track and the RC track property to indude Master Planning and Conceptual Design for the Pro Shops, bathrooms, large deck area for observation of each track, food service areas and stormwater/parking considerations. Once the masterplan and conceptual design are approved, a proposal will be provided to complete construction documents and construction administrative services for the project. The scope of services provided with this task order is outlined in detail below. Task 1— Site Planning Develop a masterplan of the entire site to incorporate: • Skate board track • RC track • Pro Shops for each track • Bathroom facilities • Public observation areas • Parking • Stormwater • Food service area (trucks) • Roof over RC track Task 2 — Conceptual Design of public areas The intended outcome for this task will be to obtain preliminary design approval from the Client. This will also require a pre -approval meeting with City of Crestview Planning Department. Assumptions The Client will be responsible for providing survey data and utility designations within the proposed project limits and any areas that may need to be surveyed in order to construct the project. An optional service has been included with this Task Order if the Client wishes to use DAG's subconsultant for surveying. Article C. Compensation Provisions As compensation for providing the services described in Article B.Scope of Services in this Task Order, the Client shall pay DAG, a not to exceed fee of $20,000.00 to be billed on an hourly basis (see attached rates). These fees will be billed monthly. Article D. Period of Service Work will begin upon execution of this Task Order. A preliminary milestone schedule is shown below.
