RESOLUTION NO. 94-27
A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN
OF TRUCKEE AUTHORIZING THE PUBLIC WORKS
DIRECTOR TO FILE AN APPLICATION AND EXECUTE AN
AGREEMENT FOR SECTION 18, FEDERAL TRANSIT
ADMINISTRATION DISCRETIONARY GRANT
WHEREAS, the Town of Truckee is eligible for Federal Transit Administration, Section 18
Discretionary Grants; and
WHEREAS, the Town of Truckee must designate a position with the responsibility to execute grant
agreements; and
WHEREAS, the Public Works Director would oversee the contract administration and expenditure
of grant funds.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF TRUCKEE as follows: The Public Works Director is hereby authorized to submit
an application, sign required assurances and execute agreements for the Federal Transit
Administration, Section 18 Discretionary Grant.
The foregoing Resolution was introduced at a Regular Meeting of the Town Council of the Town
of Truckee, held on the 19th day of May, 1994, by Council Member Aguera who moved its
adoption, which motion being duly seconded by Council Member Carpenter was upon roll call
carried and the Resolution adopted by the following vote:
AYES: Council Members Aguera, Botto, Carpenter & Cross
NOES: None
ABSENT:
Mayor Eagan
Embree B. Cross, Vice-Mayor
