A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CRESTVIEW,
FLORIDA, AMENDING THE COMPREHENSIVE FEE
SCHEDULE; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY;
PROVIDING FOR REPEAL OF ALL RESOLUTIONS OR
PARTS OF RESOLUTIONS IN CONFLICT HEREWITH
AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the imposition of fees is a product of the City of Crestview's home rule
power;
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Crestview finds that the collection of fees is
an important measure which ensures that the City may continue to responsibly provide a variety
of services to the public; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Crestview finds that it is necessary to amend
the Comprehensive Fee Schedule to provide for fees that adequately provide the City the ability
to continue to provide services to the public.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CRESTVIEW, FLORIDA AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1— AUTHORITY. The authority for enactment of this resolution is Section 166.021
and Section 163.31801, Florida Statutes and Article I, Section 2 of the City Charter.
SECTION 2 — The Comprehensive Fee Schedule is hereby amended as attached (Attachment 1).
SECTION 3 — SEVERABILITY. If any word, phrase, sentence, paragraph or provision of this
resolution or the application thereof to any person or circumstance is held invalid or
unconstitutional, such finding shall not affect the other provisions or applications of this resolution
which can be given effect without the invalid or unconstitutional provision or application, and to
this end the provisions of this resolution are declared severable.
SECTION 4 — REPEALER. All resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict with the
provisions of this resolution are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 4 — EFFECTIVE DATE. This resolution shall become effective on October 1St 2022.
PASSED AND ADOPTED IN REGULAR SESSION THIS 22nd DAY OF AUGUST 2022.
