Item: Request Out-of-State Travel for Rosie Laney to Attend the 2015 National RV Park& Campground
Management School in Wheeling,WV, from Tuesday,February 17- Sunday. February 22,2015.
Explanation: The National School of RV Park& Campground Management enhances the skills of its students
through a high quality program focusing on business management principles and practices as applied to the RV
park and campground industry. This is accomplished in a professional educational setting providing formal and
informal student contact with an experienced, interdisciplinary faculty including park operators. This will be
Rosie's'1St year and this experience was budgeted within the park's operating budget for FY15.

About the Program
This 50-hour intensive program is designed to equip prospective and current owners and managers
with the tools they need to develop a thriving campground business. Offered in two, one-week 25-hour
sessions that can be taken at one or both of the campuses. The program is offered in an environment
that promotes networking and personal interaction with instructors and students.
Outdoor Hospitality Management and Professional Certificates can be earned in conjunction
with the school by enrolling in the associated Outdoor Hospitality Certificate Program.

Early Registration is highly recommended since only 90 first-year student spaces are available.A non-refundable deposit of$200 is required with
registration.The balance of tuition and fees must be received by December 31st to finalize registration.Registration closes on February 17, 2015
or when classes are filled,whichever comes first.
Total packages include five nights lodging and all meals except Friday dinner(dinner only on Tuesday evening), study materials, daily coffee
breaks, and the orientation&graduation banquets.Classes begin on Wednesday morning at 7:45 and the program concludes with a banquet on
Saturday night.
Study Guides:Students will receive a CD containing all class texts and other resource materials approximately one month prior to the School.
These materials will also be made available on this web page. Study guides should be read in advance of the classes.
Early Arrival:If you'd like to come a day or two prior to the school to take in the resort's activities, Early Arrival lodging on Sunday or Monday is
$126.56 per room (single/double)and$160.16(premium/premium double). Early Arrival prices do not include meals. Premium Packages: The
lodge is offering a limited number of Premium Rooms in the recently constructed wing. Premium rooms include fireplaces, wall-mounted flat
panel TVs, heated towel racks,and upgraded bathrooms and room decor.
