RESOLUTION NO. 22-060
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA, APPROVING
SUBMITTED LEGAL INVOICES FROM BURNADETTE
NORRIS-WEEKS, P.A.; PROVIDING FOR
INCORPORATION OF RECITALS; PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Opa-Locka, Florida ("City
Commission") finds that certain litigation bills have been submitted by Burnadette
Norris -Weeks, P.A. ("Law Firm") to the City Commission for payment; and
WHEREAS, the City of Opa-Locka ("City") has benefited from legal services
rendered by the law firm Burnadette Norris -Weeks, P.A.; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission finds it fitting and appropriate that the
Law Firm be paid for past work performed and desires to approve legal invoices
submitted.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF OPA LOCKA, FLORIDA:

Section 2. Approving Legal Invoices Submitted and Authorizing Payment.
The City Commission hereby approves legal invoices submitted and authorizes and
directs that appropriate payment to law firm Burnadette Norris -Weeks, P.A. for
legal services previously provided.
Section 3. Effective Date. This Resolution shall be effective immediately and
shall be forwarded to the Governor's Designee.
