AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF CONTRACT BETWEEN
THE BOROUGH OF CARTERET AND CARTERET SUPERIOR OFFICERS'
ASSOCIATION AFFILIATED WITH PBA, LOCAL #47
WHEREAS, there have been ongoing negotiations between the Borough of Carteret and
Carteret Superior Officers' Association Affiliated with PBA, Local #47 ( "SOA ") for
proposed contracts for the period of January 1, 2013 through December 31, 2016 and
January 2017 through December 31, 2021; and
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret and the SOA, have reached an agreement as to the
terms of said contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Nlayor and Council of the Borough
of Carteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, that the contract between the
Borough of Carteret and the SOA, as attached hereto, be and is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and Borough Clerk are hereby
authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the Borough of Carteret, same having
been ratified and signed by Carteret Superior Officers' Association Affiliated with PBA,
Local #47.
Adopted this 15" day of September, 2016
and certified as a true copy of the
original on September 16, 2016.
