A RESOLUTION APPROVING PLAT OF SURVEY OF APPROXIMATELY 10 ACRES
OF THE WELCH FARM PREPARED PURSUANT TO PURCHASE AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the City of Riverdale, Iowa ("Riverdale"), approved and authorized the Mayor to
execute a Purchase and Sale Agreement (the "Purchase Agreement") for the purchase of real
estate, particularly described in the Purchase Agreement, from members of the Welch Family, as
defined in the Purchase Agreement, for a purchase price to be computed based upon the precise
acreage shown by Plat of Survey, multiplied by $17,500 per acre;
WHEREAS, the Purchase Agreement provides for completion of a"Plat of Survey in Section 3.4
(the "Survey");
WHEREAS, Riverdale authorized MSA Professional Services, Inc. (the "City Engineer") to
prepare the Survey subject to the terms and conditions of an agreement for survey;
WHEREAS, the City Engineer prepared and completed the Survey, and the parties to the
Purchase Agreement have reviewed it and found it should be accepted and approved;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Riverdale, Iowa, that the
Survey completed by the City Engineer is approved and the Mayor ProTem and Clerk are
authorized to affix their signatures to the Survey to indicate Riverdale's approval.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 21st DAY OF FEBRUARY, 2012.
