HomeMy Public PortalAbout22-062 - Adopting the November 8, 2022 Opa-locka Election ResultsSponsored by: City Clerk RESOLUTION NO. 22-062 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA, ADOPTING THE ELECTION RESULTS OF THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA GENERAL AND SPECIAL ELECTION HELD ON NOVEMBER 8, 2022 AS SET FORTH IN ATTACHED EXHIBIT "A"; PROVIDING FOR THE ADOPTION OF REPRESENTATIONS; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE WHEREAS, the Miami -Dade County Canvassing Board has examined the election results of the City of Opa-Locka held on November 8, 2022 and certified said results, and WHEREAS, the Supervisor of Elections has declared the election results to be proper and correct, having counted and has forwarded the results to the City of Opa- Locka; and WHEREAS, the November 8, 2022 City of Opa-locka General and Special Election results are set forth in attached Exhibit "A"; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA: Section 1. ADOPTION OF REPRESENTATIONS: The foregoing whereas paragraphs are hereby ratified and confirmed as being true, and the same are hereby made a specific part of this Resolution. Section 2. RATIFICATION OF RESULTS: The City Commission of the City of Opa-Locka hereby ratifies the results of the election as certified by Miami - Dade County Supervisor of Elections. Section 3.
