City Council Meetings
Council meetings are preceded by the Consent
Agenda Meetings at 6:30pm, with the sessions
beginning at 7pm and running until business is
complete. Dates during the following months:
October 11th and 25th and November 8th.
Planning Commission Hiatus
Due to a requirement in the Ethics Ordinance
(Section 3.21(B)6 “A candidate in any City
election may not serve as an active or otherwise
contributing member of any appointed City board,
committee, or commission during the
candidacy.”), Planning Commission will be
without a quorum during the election season
(September and October), as five Planning
Commission members are running for City
Council, making it impossible for a quorum to
convene. Therefore, Planning Commission
Meetings will be suspended until after the
election, which takes place November 6th.
River’s End Campground Celebration
Nov 2nd, from 6:30 – 10pm, River’s End invites
residents and campers to enjoy some quality
outdoor time together…
Remember the days of yore around the campfire
where stories are told and some of them are
actually true? Come be reacquainted with the
Campground, the Island, & mingle with local
residents and tourists alike as you reconnect with
the outdoors and the world around you. This is
the perfect event to introduce yourself, your
children, or your significant other to the camping
life around a campfire via an old-fashioned hot
dog roast and S’mores by the campfire.
