Construction Does Not Mean Closure!
The Island’s Master Plan has long had a goal of
revitalizing the Tybrisa/Strand business area with
a face lift to provide enhanced services such as
storm run-off, a more pleasing landscaping
design, and easier parking. This construction
effort is at long last under way, but construction
does not mean closure! Restaurants, shopping,
and entertainment venues remain open for holiday
dining, merrymaking, and gift shopping
excursions. Parking remains available nearby in
the 14th Street parking lot, which will be unaffected
by the construction, and contractors will have
various smaller pockets of parking available
throughout the project.
