PROCLAMATION
HONORING PENELOPE PEOPLES AS A LIBRARY TRUSTEE
WHEREAS: Penelope (Penny) Peoples served on the Board of Library Trustees
from January 13, 2016 to December 31, 2019; and,
WHEREAS: Ms. Peoples served on the Long Range Planning Committee prior to
her service as Trustee; and,
Angeline B. Kounelis,
District A Councilor WHEREAS: Ms. Peoples served as Trustee Vice Chair from January 13, 2016 to
Lisa J. Feltner, December 31, 2019; and,
District B Councilor
Kenneth M. Woodland, WHEREAS: Ms. Peoples provided invaluable fundraising expertise for the
District D Councilor library's 1501h Anniversary Gala.
NOW THERFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Town Council of the City
known as the Town of Watertown hereby extends its appreciation to Ms. Peoples
who served as a Library Trustee for four years.
