THIS TASK ORDER IS ISSUED PURSUANT TO THE PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERINGCONTINUING SERVICES CONTRACT DATED
MAY 3, 2021, (AGREEMENT), FOR THE CITY OF CRESTVIEW, FLORIDA, WHICH IS INCORPORATED HEREIN BY THIS
REFERENCE, WITH RESPECT TO
Provide General Professional Engineering and Consulting Services Assistance on
an as needed basis.
Article A. Purpose
The purpose of Task Order 2023-02 is to authorize and direct Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (Jacobs)
to provide Professional Engineering, consulting and support services for general assistance to the
City of Crestview (City). These services will be provided as directed by the City on as as -needed
basis, per the request of the City. The services that are included are described in "Article B. Scope of
Services."
Article B. Scope of Services:
Task 1-Technical Consultation and Support
Jacobs will, as requested by the City, provide ongoing technical support, expertise and consulting
services related to utilities and other miscellaneous services. These services shall include, but are
not limited to, the following items:
Assist with researching, study, planning, and evaluating wastewater treatment and disposal
alternatives, existing sewage collection system, and other wastewater issues.
Provide coordination with and report preparation for regulatory agencies such as FDEP,
NWFWMD, USACE to explore funding alternatives, discuss and evaluate existing, pending
and future regulation, representation of City at meetings and workshops, and other services
to assist the City with maintaining compliance with regulatory related items.
Assist with stakeholder involvement in utility planning related activities including local,
state, and governmental stakeholders including current and potential wastewater
customers.
Provide general professional engineering, consulting and support services as directed by
City.
Article C. Compensation
As compensation for providing the services described in Article B. Scope of Services of this Task
Order 2023 - 02, the City shall pay the Jacobs in accordance with Section 5 the Agreement.
Compensation for services for this Task Order will be on a time -and -materials basis, with a not -to -
exceed amount of $20,000. Requests for tasks and notice to proceed shall be based on email
correspondence.
Jacobs will keep the City informed of progress so that the budget and/or work effort can be adjusted
if found necessary.
Article D. Period of Service
The General Services tasks associated with this task order will be effective upon execution and
extend to December 31, 2023. Schedules for individual tasks shall be described in email
correspondence when identified.
Article E. Authorized Representatives
The Authorized Representatives designated below are authorized to act with respect to Task
Order 2023-02. Communications between the parties and between Jacobs's subcontractors shall be
through the Authorized Representatives:
