Overall Contract Delay Due to OH Work by Others on N & S Feeder Riser Poles
OH work required in order to build risers delayed –
Poles set w/o framing – Wait on Contractor to return
Incorrect Switches Installed ‐ Wait on Contractor to return to rectify
Switches Corrected w/o Double Dead Ends or Top Side Jumpers – Wait on
Contractor to return
Double Dead End Installed w/o Top Side Jumpers – requested schedule
Ultimately self‐performed the Top Side Jumpers directly for FPL in August 2014.
Overall impact drove back energizing the feeder at an earlier date which would have
allowed switching to energize URD and associated Services as planned. Now all
condensed work requiring additional crews.
