Danny,
FYI …………………. The FDOT permits are approved and are in-hand; however, they are ready to expire (late Jan. ’14), so
FPL has filed for an extension. Regarding the material, all is available; however, it will take some time to gather the
material that exists throughout the system (2 to 3 weeks). Yes, the VISTA’s are in and located in Boca yard. For the flex
conduit, similar to the Jupiter Island project, I can/will have it direct ship from the factory to a site location designated
by the Town / Hy-Power. Just have the Town or Hy-Power provided FPL the delivery location. I believe the turnaround
time is 2 to 3 weeks for the “flex”.
Additionally, is the Town going to provide any additional communication to the residents as to the schedule for the
underground work/ project? If not, they still may want to update the website regarding the underground project (see
below).
If you need anything more, let me know.
Thanks!

John,
We are clearing the easements now. 50% complete. Will complete the clearing next week. Hypower, the
Construction Contractor, has been issued a notice to proceed with material acquisition and permitting. Do you
have your FPL FDOT permits for the road crossings, etc?
I expect the contractor to start the construction the first or second week of January. Issuing material now will
just run up his storage costs. I understood that the conduit and the vista switches are available. Is all the
material available?

Danny,
FYI ………………. Any movement with the Town’s contractor regarding the material request? I still have not heard from
them, and as you know, December can be a short month here at FPL. Should I still forecast the material for a December
drop /pick-up or should I move it out to sometime in mid-January 2014?
Further, it’s my understanding that FPL is receiving customer calls with regards to the underground project. The Town
still has it scheduled to commence sometime in January 2014, correct? If this is the case, I will forward this start date
info on to FPL’s local area, so they can inform the customers should they inquire at FPL.
Thanks!

Danny,
At the meeting in Gulf Stream last week, you had indicated that the Town had hired a contractor and that I should
expect a call from the contractor regarding the material pick-up. I still have not received a call for the request for
material and is the project still on schedule to commence in January 2014?
Thanks & have a great holiday!
