Strand/Tybrisa Project Complete!
Ahead of plan and beautiful! Congratulations to our contractors, thanks to all who put up with the construction and helped with your input, and best
wishes for a fantastic summer season for the merchants and the City!
STOP for Pedestrians in Walkways!
Use special caution as the visitors hit our streets and beaches. REMEMBER, it
is Georgia State Law that vehicles MUST stop for any pedestrian in a marked cross-walk! Use your flashers and blinkers and help the pedestrians and other drivers watch out, because a
stopped vehicle may make it difficult for someone driving in the next lane to see pedestrians, especially children!
Be smart! Be safe! Be friendly and courteous! It could be YOUR kids
or grandkids at risk!
Tour de Georgia starts on Tybee Island
Bicycling’s Tour de Georgia is a world-class cycling event, drawing visitors from all over the world as well as television
coverage that will be broadcast world-wide! The Tour starts on Tybee Island this year on April 21st. We should see visitors from all points in town, excited about this event. Please
use EXTRA care and courtesy for these international visitors. Expect some minor traffic delays while the cyclists circle the Island and head into Savannah.
