WHEREAS, the real estate hereinafter described is contiguous
to the Village of Plainfield and i,s not within the territorial
limits of any other municipality; and
WHEREAS, the owners and at least 51~ of the electors
residing on the territory hereinafter described have petitioned
for annexation of the territory to the Village of Plainfield; and
WHEREAS, notices as required by statute have been served and
published, and a proper hearing has been held; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the Village of
Plainfield that said territory be annexed to the Village.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOI~RD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF PLAINFIELD, as follows:
Sec. 8-259-1: Territory Described. 't'hat the
fallowing described tract of land herein r_alled
territory, to-wit:
ATTACHED HERETO AND MADE A PART
HEREOF AS EXHIBIT "A"
be, and the same is hereby annexed to and declared part
of the Village of Plainfield, a Municipal Corporatioxi.
Sec. 8-259-2: Village Limits Extended. That tY~e
Village limits of the Village of Plainfield be, and t7~ie
same are hereby extended to include the above de cribed
territory.
Sec. 8-259-3: Ordinance No. 1 Amended. That
Ordinance No. 1 of the Village of Plainfield be amended
as follows:
That the limits of the Village of Plainf.iF.ld shall be
extended to include the tract of land described in
Section 8-259-1 hereof.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances a.n conflict
herewith be, and the same are hereby repealed.

This Ordinance shall be numbered as ordinance
No. 1515 and shall take effect upon its passage and
approval in accordance with the provisions of the
Statutes of the State of Illinois in such case made and
provided and the Village Clerk shall certify two copies
of this Ordinance together with an accurate map of the
annexed territory and file same in the Office of the
County Clerk and the Village Clerk shall certify a copy
of this Ordinance together with an accurate map of the
annexed territory and record same in the Office of the
Recorder of Deeds of said Wi11 County.
