Board of Public Works and Safety
City Building
Richmond, Indiana
Attention: Mr. Harold W. Ryan
Dear Mr. Rlaan:
Please convey to the Board of Public Works that we intend to raise the sign in
question over the vertical sign recently installed. This will enable the sign
to be moved in over the roof of the building so as to not project too far over
the sidewalk.
This change will require some bridge work on the roof and some special equipment
to raise it to the intended height. We feel we will have to depend on a firm that
has special equipment for this work and do not expect to find it locally. We are
now contacting out of town firms.
Very truly yours,
CHENOWETH CADILLAC, INC.
/s/ H. W. Chenoweth, Jr.
Mr. Cecere stated that if Mr. Chenoweth is going to remedy the situation that he

The closing of this ditch to furnish proper drainage in this area would be at the
City's expense, at least in part.
Mr. Cecere suggested that the City Engineer check funds available and that the
Board will have a report on these funds and a decision will be made at the next
Board meeting whether the City will take on this project or not.
