Sec. 8-249_ AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING PROPERTY LOCATED AT 110 FREDERICK
STREET.
WHEREAS, the real estate hereinafter described is contiguous
to the VILT~AGE OF PLAINFIELD and is not within the territorial
limits of any other municipality; and
WHEREAS, said real estate contains less than sixty acres of
land and is wholly bounded by the VILLAGE OF PLAINFIELD, and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the VILLAGE OF
PLAINFTELD that said territory be annexed to the VILLAGE.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF PLAINFIELD, AS FOLLOWS:
Sec. 8-249--1: Territory Described._ That the following
described tract of land herein called territory, to-
wit:
P.I.N. 03-15-301-021.
LOT 24 EXCEPT THE SOUT''HTT 98 FEET THEREOF AND FURTHER EXCEPTING
THE EAST 183 FEET OF THE NORTH 102.3 FEET OF SAID LOT 24, IN
UNIT NO. 2 OF PLAINFIELD ACRES. A SUBDIVISION OF PART OF THE
WEST HALF OF THE SOUTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION 15, IN TOWNSHIP
36 NORTH AND IN RANGE 9 EAST OF THE THIRD PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN,
IN WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS.
Be, and the same is hereby annexed to and declared part
of the Village of Plainfield, a Municipal Corporation.
Sec. 8-249-2: Village Limits Extended. That the
Village limits of the Village of Plainfield be, and the
same are hereby extended to include the above described
territory.

Ordinance No. 1 Amended. That ordinance
Village of Plainfield be amended as
That the limits of the Village of Plainfield shall be
extended to include the tract of land described in
Section 8-249 hereof.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be, and the same are hereby repealed.
This Ordinance shall be numbered as Ordinance No. x-490 and
shall take effect upon its passage and approval in accordance with
the provisions of the Statutes of the State of Illinois in such
case made and provided and the Village Clerk shall certify two
copies of this Ordinance together with an accurate map of the
annexed territory and file same in the Office of the County Clerk
and the Village Clerk shall certify a copy of this Ordinance
together with an accurate map of the annexed territory and record
the same in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds of said Will
County.
