Danny,
The following is a narrative addressing items discussed at the review meeting 8/16/13;
Item 11. Directional Bore Machine Set Up with Pits Complete (Includes all Pits and site restoration work)
Clarifications; This item as proposed assumed a remobilization as well as work completed. If remobilization is not
required and crews are still onsite you can expect a deduction of this price by $1,400 dollars.
Item 40-43. Rock Conditions
Clarifications; These were proposed as adders. Below will be the per foot cost of each total.
40. Install 24” Trench (Rock Conditions) $32.00
41. Install 30” Trench (Rock Conditions) $34.00
42. Install 36” Trench (Rock Conditions) $37.00
43. Install 48” Trench (Rock Conditions) $48.00
Item 65. Install Vista Switch complete with terminations & Grounding on existing pad
Clarifications; This item as proposed assumed the maximum terminations (6 – 600A & 6-200A, Total 12), grounding,
tagging and also energizing / switching. Eliminating switching costs reduces this line item to $3,059.00. Further
deductions can be issued at $100 for each termination if 12 are not required.
Item 69. Access Customer Cable to intercept existing UG customer owned electrical service (Locating Service, cutting
customer metal Pipe, and assocoiated excavation and site restoration)
Clarifications; This item as proposed had included the service change over tasks of splicing, cable etc. Per our discussion
this task will be inclusive of location of conduit, excavation to expose conduit, cutting conduit, attaching existing conduit
to existing conduit utilizing FPL provided materials. Revised cost: $786.00
Item 71. Install FPL UG Service (4/0 TPX including 2” conduit, cable 24” trench Hand Dig and Site restoration)
Clarification; Cost revised to a per ft price of $29.63
Item 72. Install FPL UG Service (Parallel 4/0 TPX including 2” conduit, cable 24” trench Hand Dig and Site restoration)
Clarification; Cost revised to per ft price assuming 2-2” conduits of $33.18
I believe that covers all the items. Please let me know if I have missed anything or further clarifications are needed. Also
let me know if you need this in another form.
