CONTRACT FOR ANNEXATION
WHEREAS, the CITY OF CRESTVIEW, Okaloosa County,
Florida, a municipality organized under the taws of the State of Florida,

heremafter referred to a.s the CITY; is desirous of annexing certain
properties which -would be beneficial to the citizens of the said CITY;
and that such annexation is needed to provide additional are for the growth
and development of said CITY; and
WHEREAS, AL G. RIVES, and wife, MARGARET CRAWFORD
RIVES, MRS. W. A. PRICE and ERLE PETTUS, JR., hereinafter referred
to as OWNERS, recognize the need of the CITY to annex a portion of the
land owned by them and others, and understand the need for the annexation
of the property to the CITY timits of the CITY OF CRESTVIEW; and
WHERE -AS, it is to the mutual benefit of all the parties for
the property to be annexed;
NOW, THEREFORE, for and in consideration of the mutual
promises contained herein, it is agreed as follows:
l. That the OWNERS do hereby consent to the annexation of
certain properties, and by this instrument the lands hereinafter described
are hereby annexed into the CITY OF CRESTVIEW, ander the terms and
conditions hereinafter stated, said property being described a.s follo-ws:
(SEE EXHIBIT "A" ATTACHED HERETO)
2, The CITY does hereby accept the land for annexation and by
the execution of this instrument does hereby annex such land.
3. It is agreed that the land is now being used for agricultural
purposes and the CITY agrees that such land shall. be zoned for such purposes ,
and shall so remain until such time that the land shall be developed or used
for other purposes.
