Good afternoon Danny,
In review of below I would add Memorial Day.
Also in going over the substantial completion date of 9/10/14 and adding the 15 days I show an
adjusted date of Sept 30 th without Memorial Day. These days are work days not calendar days
correct?
If I do not hear back from you have a safe and enjoyable trip over the Holiday Weekend.
,

Bill, This is the current situation as I see it. Hypower and I are finalizing the Change Orders needed to
document this.
1
Notice to Proceed was issued Jan 6, 2014.
Eight Month to substantial completion would fall on Sept. 8, 2014
Two holidays July 4 and Sept 1.
Original substantial Completion Date September 10, 2014.
Time Extensions-
10 Day Time Extension -FPL Delay in completing riser pole work prohibiting the energizing of the feeder, a
critical path component.
2 Day Extension – FPL delay in relocating down guys conflicting with equipment pads.
3 Day Extension – Conduit Rework due to resident route concerns.
Current Substantial Completion Date is projected to be September 24, 2014.
As of the end of this week;
1.The underground feeder and switch cabinets are energized and functioning.
2.All of the primary cable feeding the transformers will be installed.
3.All of the transformers will be placed and ready to be energized.
4.All of the communications conduits and splice boxes will be installed.
Beginning on Sept 2, 2014, the contractor will begin transferring the electric services over to the underground
system.
This work must be completed by September 24, 2014 to qualify as being substantially complete and avoid
contract penalties.
Within 30 days after substantial completion, follow-up work such as stake removals, landscaping/streetscape
repairs/cleanup, as-built document delivery, etc. must be completed.
Street Lighting-
As the street lighting fixtures are still being finalized, we have installed service conduits to the four remaining
street light locations and will be processing a change order to significantly reduce the scope of the street
lighting on this phase of the project.

Pull Box should be a minimum of 18” behind the face of the curb to be out of the FDOT Green book clear zone.
(Greenbook - FDOT Guidelines for non-state road system roads) Farther back would be better if possible.

Danny,
After issues with the remaining pulls to complete A & B Phase yesterday, we propose to set one
more primary box on Pelican. There is a regular curb there (See attached) so we are picking up
a fiber box this morning. This was shown on the line diagram but was not on the supplemental
set used for conduit installation.
