MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING

Subject: Retta Ln. Annexation (PIN# 30-3N-23-0000-0006-0010 & 30-3N-23-0000-0008-0000)
City of Crestview, Florida & Mark G. Anderson, Stacey M. Anderson (Property Owners)
This Memorandum of Understanding is in reference to the proposed annexation of land by the Property
Owners, identified as PIN# 30-3N-23-0000-0006-0010 & 30-3N-23-0000-0008-0000 (the Property), and has
been provided with the following acknowledgements:
• The Property Owners shall annex the subject property without requesting a City Future Land Use
designation or Zoning district.
• The City shall allow the underlying Okaloosa County Future Land Use designation and Zoning
district to run with the Property for a period not to exceed six (6) months following adoption of the
annexation Ordinance.
• No later than six (6) months after the adoption of the annexation Ordinance, the property owner shall
make application for a Comprehensive Plan amendment and Rezoning to assign a City Future Land
Use designation and Zoning district to the property.
• The City shall not charge an additional fee for any application for Comprehensive Plan amendment
and Rezoning so long as such application is made no later than six (6) months after the adoption of
the annexation ordinance.
• If no application for Comprehensive Plan amendment and Rezoning are made in the six (6) months
following the adoption of the annexation Ordinance for the Property, the City shall initiate said
Comprehensive Plan amendment and Rezoning process for the Property at its discretion.
