CALL TO ORDER The City of Lynwood as Successor Agency to the Lynwood Redevelopment Agency met in a regular meeting in the Council Chambers, 11330 Bullis Road on the above date at 6:38 p.m. Mayor Alatorre presiding. B. ROLL CALL PRESENT: Council Members Castro, Santillan-Beas, Morton, Mayor Pro Tem • Rodriguez, and Mayor Alatorre ABSENT: None Also present were Interim City Manager Richard N. Warne, City Clerk Maria Quinonez and City Treasurer Edwin Hernandez. C. CERTIFICATION OF AGENDA POSTING BY CITY CLERK City Clerk Quinonez announced that the Agenda had been duly posted in accordance with the Brown Act. APPROVAL OF THE WARRANT REGISTER RESOLUTION NO. 2013. 026 ENTITLED: RESOLUTION OF THE LYNWOOD CITY COUNCIL AS SUCCESSOR AGENCY TO THE LYNWOOD REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF LYNWOOD, CALIFORNIA, ALLOWING AND APPROVING THE DEMANDS AND WARRANTS NEW/OLD BUSINESS NONE CLOSED SESSION' Item #3 WITH RESPECT TO EVERY ITEM OF BUSINESS°TO BE DISCUSSED IN CLOSED SESSION PURSUANT TO SECTION 54956.9 CONFERENCE WITH REAL PROPERTY NEGOTIATORS Property: APN 6173-002-906 Negotiator: Richard N. Warne, City Manager and Fred Galante, City Attorney Negotiating Parties: Successor Agency and M&A Gabaee Under Negotiation: Price and terms Council Provided direction with Council Member Santillan-Beas abstained,, leaving the closed session room and not participating in the discussion. No reportable action was taken. Item #4 WITH RESPECT TO EVERY ITEM OF BUSINESS TO BE DISCUSSED IN CLOSED SESSION PURSUANT TO SECTION 54956.8 EXISTING LITIGATION 'PURSANT TO GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 54959.9 (a) 1. Lynwood Redevelopment Agency and City of Lynwood vs. Barry Ross United States District Court Case No. CV11-02207MMM Separate legal counsel Cox, Castle, and Nicholson provided a background. Council provided unanimous direction decision to Mr. Brooks of Cox Castle, and Nicolson and no reportable action was taken. 2. Rogel vs. City of Lynwood Los Angeles Superior Court No. BS106592 Council provided direction on the resolution of that matter made by motion of Council Member Castro, seconded by Mayor Pro Tem Rodriguez and carried 5-0 to provide direction on settlement. No further reportable action was taken. ADJOURNMENT Having no further discussion, it was moved by Mayor Pro Tem Rodriguez, seconded by Council Member Castro and carried to adjourn the City of Lynwood as Successor Agency to the Lynwood Redevelopment Agency regular meeting at 6:40 p.m. 4 .
