Sec. 8--183: AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING PROPERTY OWNED BY ARTHUR
NEAL AND MARY LOU SHARP LOCATED AT 209 ROBERT
AVENUE
WHEREAS, the real estate hereinafter described is contiguous
to the Village of Plainfield and is not within the territorial
limits of any other municipality; and
WHEREAS, the owners and at least 51~ of the electors residing
on the territory hereinafter described have petitioned for
annexation of the territory to the Village of Plainfield; and
WHEREAS, notices as required by statute have been served and
published, and a proper hearing has been held; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the Village of
Plainfield that said territory be annexed to the Village.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF PLAINFIELD, as follows:
Sec. $--183: Territory Described. That the following
described tract of land herein called territory, to-wit:
P.I.N. #03-15-300-006
THE WEST 83 FEET OF THE NORTH 120 FEET OF LOT 54 IN UNIT NO.
4 PLAINFIELD ACRES, A SUBDIVISION OF THE SOUTH 2301 FEET OF
THE WEST HALF OF THE SOUTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION 15 , TOWNSHIP
36 NORTH, RANGE 9 EAST OF THE THIRD PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN,
ACCORDING TO THE PLAT THEREOF RECORDED JUNE 6, 1953 AS
DOCUMENT NO. 729453, IN WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS.
be, and the same is hereby annexed to and declared part of the
Village of Plainfield, a Municipal Corporation.
Sec. 8-183-2: Village Limits Extended. That the Village
limits of the Village of Plainfield be, and the same are
hereby extended to include the above described territory.

Sec. 8-183-3: Ordinance No. 1 Amended. That Ordinance No.
1 of the Village of Plainfield be amended as follows:
That the limits of the Village of Plainfield shall be extended
to include the tract of land described in Section 8-183-1
hereof .
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be, and the same are hereby repealed.
This Ordinance shall be numbered as Ordinance No. 1.422 and
shall take effect upon its passage and approval in accordance
with the provisions of the Statutes of the State of Illinois
in such case made and provided and the Village Clerk shall
certify two copies of this Ordinance together with the
accurate map of the annexed territory and file same in the
Office of the County Clerk and the Village Clerk shall certify
a copy of this Ordinance together with an accurate map of the
annexed territory and record same in the Office of the
Recorder of Deeds of said Will County.
