A SPECIAL ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP FOR A CERTAIN PARCEL FROM R-1, TO R-1, PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT
Whereas, the Zoning Map designates certain property commonly known as the west side of South 37th street approximately 945 feet North of Hodgin Road and legally described as follows,
to wit:
Situate in the Southeast Quarter of Section 3, Township 13 North, Range 1 West, city of Richmond, Wayne County, Indiana, being a 26.35 acre tract of land conveyed to Sandbridge, LLC
by Deed Recorded as 2005013323 and being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point 990 feet north and 1, 282.5 feet east of the southwest corner of the southeast quarter of said Section 3, and running thence from said beginning point north 1 degree
and 57 minutes east, 838.62 feet; thence south 89 degrees and 27 minutes east 1,362.22 feet to the east line of said southeast quarter; thence south along said east line 835.39 feet
to a point 990 feet north of the southeast corner of said quarter; thence west parallel to the south line of said quarter, 1,385.3 feet to the place of beginning, containing an area
of 26.35 acres, more or less.
as an R-1 as outlined on Exhibit A; and
Whereas, it is desirable to change the above described real estate’s zoning designation to a R-1, P.U.D. in order to allow the owner to market and sell said real estate for single and
multi-family residences.
NOW THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, that the zoning designation for the above described property is changed to a R-1 Planned Unit Development.
