ANIDi NIDINC & SUI'PLEIVIENTING CHAPTER 38 OF THE CODE OF THE
BOROUGH OF CARTERET
BE IT ORDAITNEID by the Mayor and Borough Council of the Borough of
Carteret (the "Borough ") as follows:
Section i That the Borough Law Director is herby authorized to formally
update and consolidate the Administrative/ Personnel policies with
regard to the Borough's various employees and officials and to
implement said revisions.
Section 2 All ordinances or parts thereof inconsistent with the provision of
this ordinance are hereby repealed limited to the extent of any
such inconsistency.
Sec ?ion 3 Many section, paragraph, sub - division, clause or provision of this
ordinance is adjudged invalid, such adjudication shall apply only to
the section, paragraph, sub- division, clause or provision so
adjudged and the remainder of this ordinance shall be deemed
valid and effective.
Section d This ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and
publication according to applicable law.

THE BOROUGH OF CARTERET
The foregoing ordinance was in-
troduced at a meeting of the
Council of the Borough of Car-
teret held February 4, 2016
when it was adopted on first
reading. The said ordinance will
be further considered on second
reading for final adoption at a
meeting of said Council of the
Borough of Carteret on Decem-
ber 1, 2016 at approximately
6:00 P.M., Borough Hall /Council
Chambers, 61 Cooke Avenue,
Carteret, New Jersey at which
time and place all persons inter-
ested will be given an opportu-
nity to be heard.
