A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD APPROVING
THE USE OF SELECTED RECREATION & COMMUNITY SERVICES DEPARTMENT
FACILITIES TO PROVIDE A COLLABORATIVE ACADEMIC ENRICHMENT
PROGRAM
WHEREAS, a request was made by All In Enrichment Academy to provide an
after school enrichment program at the Lynwood Youth Center and other City facilities;
and
WHEREAS, the purpose of the program is to provide a pilot, academic, personal
enrichment and sports program that would expand the City's inventory of youth
programming; and
WHEREAS, the use will take place week days from 2:45 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at
various 'City facilities as will be determined by a Memorandum of Understanding
between All In Academy and the City of Lynwood
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council approves the use of City facilities as determined in
a Memorandum of Understanding, as negotiated by the Recreation Department and the
waiver of any rental fees for facilities to be used in this agreement.
Section 2. The City Council further finds that the All In Enrichment Academy
request serves the important public purpose of educating Lynwood citizens community -
wide.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 4th day of February, 2014.
