HomeMy Public PortalAboutr 99:25199-251 Date ol Adllplion JULY 15: REQUESTING APPROVAL OF INSERTION OF $65,469 THE 1999 BUDGET REVE~FOE AVAILABLE FROM THE BROWNFIELDS FUNDING ~=ND REHABILITATION FLrND WHEREAS, N.J.S. 40:4-87 provides that the Director of Local Government Services may approve the insertion of any special item of revenue in the budget of any municipality when such item shall have been made available by law and the amount thereof was not determined at the time of the adoption of the budget, and WHEREAS, said director may also approve the insertion of any item of appropriation for equal amount. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Borough of Carteret hereby requests the director of the Division of Local Government Services to approve the insertion of an item of revenue in the budget of the year 1999 in the sum of $65,469 which item is now available as a revenue from the Brownfields Funding. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a like sum of $65,469 be and the same is hereby appropriated under the caption of: Brownfields Funding Adopted this 15th day of July, 1999 and certified as a true copy of the original on july 16, 1999.
