SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES
TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 5, 2013
1. CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Yu called the City Council Regular Meeting to order at 6:38 p.m. in the
Council Chambers located at 5938 Kauffman Avenue, Temple City.
2. ROLL CALL
PRESENT: Councilmember-Blum, Chavez, Vizcarra, Sternquist, Yu
ABSENT: Councilmember-None
ALSO PRESENT: City Clerk Kuo
3. PUBLIC COMMENTS — None
4. INTERVIEWS FOR PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION VACANCY
The City Council interviewed two final applicants, as recommended by the Parks
and Recreation Commission Appointment Ad Hoc Committee (i.e.,
Councilmember Chavez and Mayor Pro Tem Sternquist) to fill one unexpired
term of office ending June 30, 2014.
The final two candidates that interviewed for the Parks and Recreation
Commission were Kristel Haddad and Paul Dong.
Mayor Pro Tem Sternquist made a motion to appoint Ms. Haddad to the Parks
and Recreation Commission, seconded by Councilmember Blum and
unanimously carried by the following roll call vote:

None
Ms. Haddad will be sworn in at the February 19, 2013 City Council meeting.

The City Council's Special Meeting was adjourned at 7:10 p.m. to the Regular
City Council Meeting of February 5, 2013.
