GENERAL This change order is necessary to covff emergercy work required due to
the recent force main break along Rasberry Road. This repair involves replacernent of
the existing 10-inch ductile iron aerial foroe main installed over Juniper Creek with a
12" HDPE force main installed under the creek by horizontal directional drill.

II. REQUIRED CHANGES: The conkactor will install a new forc,e main across Juniner
Creek al e Rasben'v Road:tie-in the new force to the existine force maiu and
demoligh the existing force main from the bddee.
III. JUSTIFICATION:The work is in response to a rce maln break which requhes
exoedi ted lacement of force main to avoid anv other spillase ofraw sewer,
IV. PAYMENT: This chanse order will result in an toqease of $124.492.4 the total
contract amount.
