AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING PROPERTY LOCATED AT 116
50UTH FREDERICK AVENUE.
WHEREAS, the real estate hereinafter described is contiguous
to the Village of Plainfield and is not within the territorial
limits of any other municipality; and
WHEREAS, the owner has petitioned for annexation of the
territory to the Village of Plainfield; and
WHEREAS, there are no electors residing within the said
terr:~tcry; and
WHEREAS, notices as required by statute have been served and
published, and a proper hearing has been held; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the Village of
Plainfield that said territory be annexed to the Village.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BDARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF PLAINFIELD, as follows:
Sec. 8-168-~: Territory Described. That the
following described tract of land herein called
territory, to--wit:
LOT 26, IN PLAINFIELD ACRES UNIT 2, A
SUBDIVISION OF PART OF THE 50UTH 2301.0 FEET
OF THE WEST 1/2 OF THE SOUTHWEST 1/4 OF
SECTION 15 IN TOWNSHIP 3G NORTH, AND IN
RANGE 9 EAST OF THE THIRD PRINCIPAL
MERIDIAN, ACCORDING TO THE PLAT THEREOF,
RECORDED NOVEMBER 6, 1951, AS DOCUMENT NO.
699337 IN WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS. ~~_~~- .~~~, ~~~
be, and the same a.s hereby annexed to and declared
part of the Village of Plainfield, a Municipal
Corporation.
Sec. 8-168-2: Village Limits Extended. That the
Village limits of the Village of Plainfield be, and the
same are hereby extended to ~.nclude the above described
territory.
Sec. 8-1G8--3: Ordinance No. 1. Amended. That
Ordinance No. 1 of the Village of Plainfield be amended

That the limits of the Village of Plainfield shall be
extended to include the tract of land described in
Section 8-168-1 hereof.
That all ordinances ar parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be, and the same are hereby repealed.
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval as required by law.
This Ordinance shall be numbered as Ordinance Na. 136,4 and
shall take effect upon its passage and approval in accordance
with the provisions of the Statutes of the State of Illinois in
such case made and provided and the Village Clerk shall certify
two cogi es of this Ordinance together Frith an accurate znap of the
annexed territory and file same in the Office of the County Clerk
and the Village Clerk shall certify a copy of this Ordinance
together with an accurate map of the annexed territory and record
same in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds of said Will County,
PASSED THIS 13th DAY OF May 1991.
