All members were present . The following business was had to wit : The Clerk presented proof of publication that this date had been set to open bids for materials for the use of the City, from June 1, 1963 to June 1, 1964. The proofs were accepted as in order and ordered filed. Plant in City owned trucks $8.75 Per Ton City Controller Tiffany moved that the bids be awarded to the low bidders, seconded by CltyEEngineer Sherick. Thus the bids were awarded to: Gasoline & Fuel Oil - Sinclair Refining Co. Coal Muff Coal & Oil Street Materials Magaw Companies - (for materials listed) The Board approved a request by William Jacobs , for B & B Applications to install a display teht for the month of June (30) days at first and Main Street (Vortex Station) subject to Fire Department inspection. .68 May 29, 1963 - continued The Board instructed the Engineering Department to opemnthe sewer at 18th and National Road, Northeast corner which is now plugged. The Board approved a. request by Restaurant Inspector Goins to attend the Annual Indiana Assoc . of Sanitarians Conference in Indianapolis, June 4-5-6, 1963. The Board approved and signed the 34d and 4th addition plate in the Pine Manor Sub-Division. The Board instructed the Street Department to repair the broken seweri.inlet at South 7th and "A" St . SW corner. The Board instructed the Engineering Department to hold up Hermits to build in Sub-Divisions until paved streets are provided for..
