SPECIAL MEETING
BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY
APRIL 30. 1963
A special meeting of the Board of Public Works and Safety was called
on April 30th, 1963, at 11 o!clock A.M. ,by President Andrew C. Cecere,
for the purpose of considering the tendered resignation of Ronald
Phenis, Patrolman, Richmond Police Department. There were present Mr.
Cecere, Mr. Sherick, Mr. Tiffany, constitutiihg all the members of the
Board, and City Clerk Glenn J. Chapman, and Mayor Roland H. Cutter.
The letter of resignation, which read as follows:

Richmond, Indiana
Dear Chief Conyers :
I hereby tender, with regret, my resignation from the Richmond,
Indiana Police Department, effective immediately. I am glad to
have had the opportunity of working under you, and with all my
fellow officers on the force.

was presented to the Board by John R. Tiffany, before whom said letter
was executed. A motion was made by John R. Tiffany. and seconded by
Mr. Sherick, that the resignation be accepted. The motion was
unanimously carried.
There being no further business before the Board, the meeting was
adjourned.
