Home My Public Portal AboutOrd. 16-25Nn. -25 Vf l-p AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING CRAPTER 160 ENTITLED Lr1ND DEVELOPMIENT Be it ordained by the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Carteret as follows: Section I Paragraph D, entitled "Height," of Section 160 -31.1, entitled "Fences," is hereby amended and supplemented to add the following new sentence at the end thereof, with the balance of said Paragraph remaining unchanged: "On corner lots in residential zones, a six foot fence may only be installed along the secondary roadway frontage where the sight triangle for vehicular and pedestrian traffic is not obstructed and only with the approval of the Municipal Director of Engineering." Section 2, M ordinances and/or provisions thereof inconsistent with the provision of this ordinance shall be and are hereby repealed as to the extent of any such inconsistencies. Section 3. If any section, subsection, part, clause or phrase of this ordinance shall . be declared invalid by judgment of any Court of competent jurisdiction, the section, subsection, part, clause or phrase shall be deemed to be severable from the remainder of this ordinance.
