MARCH 28. 1963
The Board of Public Works and Safety met in regular session with City
Attorney Cecere presiding: City Engineer Sherick was absent, being at
the Annual Purdue University Road School this week, The following
business was had to wit :
The Board approved the recommendation of Police Chief Conyers to appoint
Charles Chris, Jr. a regular patrolman, having served the one year pro-
bationary period, effective March 28, 1963.
The Board referred a petition signed by 14 property owners of real estate
abutting on North 12th Street, from River Court Ofiire to the vicinity of
Horse Shoe Drive on New Paris Pike, for the construction of a Sanitary
Sewer. The petition was referred to the City Engineering Department
for estimate and checking of property owners.
There being no further business the meeting adjourned.
