DECEMBER 6. 1962
The Board of Public Works aid Safety met in tegular session with City
Controller. Tiffany presiding. Board President Cecere was out of the
City. The Folowing business was had to wit:
The Board received a letter from the Senate Committee of Earlham College
expressing their appreciation for the lights being installed at the
entrance on National Road West. City Controller Tiffany said that the
College was still considering a flasher and had State approval for
the Installation on each side of the entrance, as'�sa safety measure.
City Engineer Sherick reported that Mr. Cassidey of Henry B. Steegs
Associates has checked the preliminary plans for the sewer project
in Berry Field made by the Engineering Department and will submit an
estimate when final approval of the plans is made. The Board agreed
` that the project could be worked into next years sewer construction
program. Bert Keller, Attorney for the Indianapolis Company that has
proppsed to build apartments in the ares, said that the company was
interested in the sewer being constructed in the near future.
There being no further business the meeting-adjourned.
