HomeMy Public PortalAbout05-10-1962 BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY MAY 10, 1962 The Board of Public Works and Safety did not hold a regular meeting on this date as two members - City Attorney and City Engineer Sherick were out of town. This date had been set to open sealed bids for the construction of a sanitary 11/ sewer on Northwest 7th and Peacock. The City Clerk presented proof of publica- tion, the proofs were accepted and ordered filed by City Controller Tiffany. The Following bids were opened in the presence of William R. Emslie and repre- sentatives of the DeLucio Construction Co. and the J. L. Robinson Co. DeLucio Construction Co. $3,288.40 Robinson Bros. -- - - 4205.40 DeBolt Concrete CO. 4,621.60 City Controller Tiffany announced that the bids would be taken under advisement until the next regular meeting. The CJ,erk presented proof of publication that this date had been set to open sealed bids for a 1962 automobile for the use of the Police Department, The proofs were accepted and ordered filed. The following bids were opened in the presence of William R. Emslie and a representive of Kurdys Chevrolet: Dea Meadows Ford $1348.00-with trade-in Kurdys Chevrolet 1419.69 n n n City Controller Tiffany announced that the bids would be taken under advisement until the next regular meeting.
