BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY
January 11, 1962
The Board of Public Works and Safety met in regular session in City Hall,
with City Attorney Cecere presiding; all members were present. The following
business was had, to-wit:
City Controller Tiffany moved that the reading of the minutes of the previous
meeting be dispended with, seconded by City Engineer Sherick, unanimous voice
vote. ' Ill
The Clerk presented proofs of publication that this date had been set to open
sealed bids for a new 1962 automobile for the use of the City Engineering
Department. The following bids were opened by the Board:
The price quoted is less trade-in - 1955 Lhev. 2 Dr.
Cash Difference
Kurdys Chevrolet $1,995.00 Chevrolet
Raper Plymouth 2,024.00 Plymouth
Bruce Rambler 2,200.00 Rambler
City Controller Tiffany moved that the Board accept the bid of Kurdy's Chevrolet
on their low bid of $1,995.00, seconded by City Attorney Cecere, unanimous vote.
The Clerk presented proofs of publication that this date had been set to open
bids for a new 1962 automobile for the use of the Police Department. The
following sealed bids were opened by the Board:

Kurdys Chevrolet $1,396.14 Chevrolet
Raper Plymouth 1,877.00 Plymouth
City Controller Tiffany moved that the Board accept the low bid of Kurdys
Chevrolet of $1,396.14, seconded by City Attorney Cecere, unanimous vote.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
