BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY • April 20, 1961 The Board of Public Works and Safety met in regular session in City Hall, Richmond, Indiana, with City Controller Wilson presiding. All members present. The following business was had to wit: The Board adopted a preliminary resolution for the construction of a sanitary sewer on South 14th and 15th streets, from South "M" to South "0" street. The Clerk was instructed to advertise for a " Public Hearing" May 4, 1961. The Board adopted a preliminary resolution to construct a sanitary sewer on South 11th street, from South "M" to South "0" street. The Clerk was instructed to advertise for a " Public Hearing" May 4, 1961. Dale Splitstone. 23 Circle Drive, Pleasant View Heights appeared before the Board to inquire if an antique shop in Pleasant View Heights was in violation of the building code, the matter was referred to the building Commissioner for study and recommendation. William Adler of the Parking Meter Department, reported that the pavement on the. South 5th street City owned Parking Lot was getting in a bad condition. The Board took the matter under advisement. City Engineer Sherick reported that the large hole in the intersection of South 8th and "B" street, would be filled with rocks and gravel and to resume traffic over it, letting the fill settle before paving. Mr. Sherick said, that he would have a conference with the Water Works Corporation, concerning the cost of the repairs. City Engineer Sherick, said he was continuing a study of water being pumped onto the street by residents on southwest first and "G" street. There being no further business the meeting adjourned.
