The minutes of the meeting of December 5, 1967 read. Moved by Rayburn Anderson
that the minutes be approved as read.
Seconded by Arthur Theis.
Motion carried.
Moved by Harold Winterhalter to refund to James Kangas the $25.00 payment
which he had made at the time of the preliminary plat.
Seconded"by Raymond Bosch.
Motion carried.
William.Mills, engineer, advised that it is O. K. to go ahead and execute the
road proposal for #116.
William Mills gave a detailed explanation of the sewage survey for the Hanel
area and also discussed a water system. Moved by Rayburn Anderson to
authorize Mr. Mills to makeaa water survey in the Hamel area in an a mount
estimgted at $200.00/

Moved by Harold Winterhalter that we have a public hearing on the Hamel
Sewage survey and the proposed water survey on January 23, 1968 at the
Medina Ballroom at 8:00 P. M., subject to O. K. by the Village Attorney.

Moved by Raymond Bosch to grant Medina Recreations, Inc. a cigarette license
for 1968.

business.

attorney retainer as last year.

Moved by Harold Winterhalter that the Treasurer's salary be set at $30.00
per month.

The annual report of Public Employees Retirement Association and a letter
from the Department of Human Rights were perused and noted for filing.
Announcement of the meeting of the Hennepin County League of Municipalities
to be held January 4th at 8:00 P. M. at Golden Valley Village Hall was made.
Moved by Wayne Heddermeyer to appoint Harold Winterhalter chairman and
supervisor of the sewage project in the Hamel area.
Seconded by Rayburn Anderson.

Moved by Rayburn Anderson that anyone who operates the village truck be
paid $2.50 an hour.

Moved by Raymond Bosch to pay the bills as folows: payroll in the amount
of $1008.16 and order checks in the amount of 82065.92.
