AUTIf ORIZING A PRO: ESSION. -ll. SERVICES CONTRACT
1 T11 BEACON PLANNLYG v& COINSULTING SERVICES, LLC
FOR VARIOUS PLANNLVG/ENGINEEIff PROJECTS
's= REAS, the Borough of Carteret is in need of various planninglengineering services in
connection witb various projects in the Borough; and
WHERE AS, Beacon Planning & Consulting Services, LLC, Colts Towne Plaza, Suite 207,41
State Highway 34 South, Colts Meek, New Jersey 07722, possess the requisite experience and
expertise to provide said services; and
N= REAS, Beacon Planning & Consulting Services, LLC has submitted a proposal to provide
said services at a total cost not to exceed 55,500.00; and
1VFIERAS, the Mayor and Council have reviewed said proposal; and
=1 REAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified that fiords are or will be available for said
purpose.
NOSY, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Borough of
Carteret, County of ldiiddlesex, Slate of New Jersey, as follows:
i. That the proposal from Beacon Planning & Consulting Services, LLC
for planning/engineering services in regard to various projects in the
Borough at a total cost not to exceed $5,500.00 is hereby approved;
2. That this action is approved m an award of a professional services
contract pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11- 5(I)(a) in accordance with the
Borough's Far and Open Process as authorized by law.
3. A copy of this Resolution be forwarded to the Borough's Purchasing
Department and Beacon Planning & Consulting Services, Lie.
