A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD APPROVING
THE USE OF THE BATEMAN HALL AUDITORIUM AND WAIVING THE RENTAL
FEES iN THE AMOUNT OF $220.
WHEREAS, a request was made by Assembly Member Anthony Rendon to host
an Affordable Care Act enrollment event at the Bateman Hall Auditorium; and
WHEREAS, the purpose of the event is to present important information on the
impact of the Affordable Care Act on the community; and
WHEREAS, the event will take place on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 from 4:00
p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council approves the use of City facilities and the waiver
of rental fees in the amount of $220.
Section 2. The City Council further finds that Assembly Member Anthony
Rendon's request serves the important public purpose of educating Lynwood residents
community -wide.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 4th day of March, 2014.
