HomeMy Public PortalAbout2014.032 (02-18-14)RESOLUTION NO. 2014.032 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANANGER OR DESIGNEE TO APPROPRIATE AND TRANSFER $9,100 OF UNAPPROPRIATED GAS TAX FUNDS TO THE STREET LIGHT DIVISION WHEREAS, the City has experience a rash of electrical wire theft in the City's street lighting system; and WHEREAS, the cost to replace stolen street lighting electrical wire and appurtenant materials is $9,100; and WHEREAS, these expenditures were unexpected and have impacted the Street Lighting Division budget. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the City Manager or designee is authorized to appropriate and transfer $9,100 from the unappropriated Gas Tax Fund to the Street Lighting Division account No. 2651.45.425. Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption. Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this Resolution.
