COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND,INDIANA
ORDINANCE NO. 31-2022
AN APPROPRIATION (TRANSFER) ORDINANCE
AMENDING THE 2022 BUDGET
WHEREAS, The Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana adopted a budget for
calendar year 2022 on October 4, 2021, with Ordinance 38-2021; and
WHEREAS, The Common Council has determined it necessary to transfer money from
one major budget classification to another within a department or office; and
WHEREAS, The transfer does not require the expenditure of more money,than the total
amount set out in the budget as finally determined under Indiana Code 6-1.1-
1-1 et. seq.; and
WHEREAS, This transfer may be made under Indiana Code 6-1.1-18-6 without notice and
without the approval of the Department of Local Government Finance.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of
Richmond,Indiana,that the 2022 budget be amended as follows:
A. Police Department General Fund(1101)
1. Delete $100,000.00 from
Salaries and Wages Account: 1101-0370-101-1163
2. Add$6,000.00 to
Services and Charges: 1101-0370-312-3981
3. Add$3,000.00 to
Supplies: 1101-03 70-201-213 0
4. Add $35,000.00 to
Supplies: 1101-0370-202-2211
5. Add $4,000.00 to
Supplies: 1101-0370-202-2212
