If that revenue can be determined by full day vs. twilight AFP's it should be applied in two parts as outlined below. Only AFP revenue applicable to the current golf season should be used. If we offer a fall "pay now play now" it would be included as that revenue carries over to the next golf season. Any "winter only" AFP revenue would not be included as that does not carry over. The total bottom line budget must be used - to include capital and any allowable reserve account(s) allocations. AFP tee time allocations must be calculated in two parts to fairly account for the twilight and other time restricted AFP players. Part 'A' to be the full day AFP revenue from resident early, resident morning and full fee non-resident AFP's. That percent of AFP revenue to be used to allocate AFP tee times throughout the day. Part 'B' to be the AFP revenue from the time restricted AFP categories, all resident and non-resident twilight, junior, college, etc. The AFP tee times applicable to that revenue to be added during the twilight category hours. If gross AFP revenue is used to allocate AFP tee times throughout the day it penalizes the time restricted players. It results in the time restricted AFP's subsidizing the full day players and denies them a fair number of tee times during the hours in which they are eligible to play. Cc: Jay Packett Subject: Re: Next meeting agenda Hi Jay In addition to the guest fee rate discussion next meeting can you also please make recommendations as to any change related to the"Group Outing" or tournament fees and clarify what that includes ie carts and the recommended minimum head count commitment for that rate to apply? Additionally, 1 could use some education as to if there are restrictions as to when/how many of those events are allowed to be scheduled(day/times of week)etc. With demand on the courses so high and overall rate discussion my sense was we should include it, and any other pricing options published or unpublished,for review.
