AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE SALARIES OF ELECTED OFFICERS
OF THE CITY OF GREENCASTLE FOR THE YEAR 2001
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Greencastle, Indiana as follows:
SECTION ONE That the salaries of elected officials of the City of Greencastle shall be as
follows:
Mayor
Clerk - Treasurer
Common Council
19,780.00
19,440.00
3,000.00 each
SECTION TWO: That the Department of Water Works shall pay to the Mayor of the City of
Greencastle for services rendered by the Mayor on behalf of the Department of Water Works
during the year 2001 the sum of Eight Thousand One Hundred Ten Dollars ($8,110.00).
That the Department of Water Works shal l pay to the Clerk - Treasurer of the City of Greencastle
for services rendered by the Clcrk- Treasurer on behalf of the Department of Water Works during
the year 2001 the sum of Eight Thousand Two Hundred Eighty Dollars ($8,280.00).
That the Department of Water Works shal l pay to each member of the Common Council of the
City of Greencastle for services rendered by the Common Council on behalf of the Department of
Water Works during the year 2001 the sum of Five Hundred Dollars each ($500.00 each for 5
n iembers).
SECTION THREE: That the Sewage Department shall pay to the Mayor of the City of
Grcencastle for services rendered by the Mayor on behalf of the Sewage Department during the
year 2001 the sum of Eight Thousand One Hundred Ten Dollars ($8,110.00).
That the Sewage Department shall pay to the Clerk- Treasurer of the City of Greencastle for
services rendered on behalf of the Sewage Department during the year 2001 the sum of Eight
Thousand Two IIundred Eighty Dollars ($8,280.00).
That the Sewage Department shall pay to each member of the Common Council of the City of
Greencastle for services rendered by the Common Council on behalf of the Sewage Department
during the year 2001 the sum of Five Hundred Dollars each (5500.00 each for 5 members).
