We are pleased to present the annual
Watertown Senior Center Art Exhibition within
these pages. Congratulations to all of our Art Class
participants.
From Dawn Scaltreto, instructor, "Hello, Friends!
I am so excited to share the work of the members
of the Monday Morning Art Class with you. The
artists have met virtually this past year via Zoom
classes set up by the Watertown Senior Center.
It begins our week on a high note, adding color,
laughter and community to our lives. We have
been able to have several in -person classes this
year at the Senior Center, along with several plein-
air paint outs, one at Gore Estate and one at the
Arsenal Commander's Mansion, both featuring
colorful autumn splendor. Several more are
planned including ones at North Grafton's Willard
House and Clock Museum, the famed Longfellow
House in Harvard Square and a Watertown
resident's delightful perennial garden. Each week
in class we exchange stories and lively
conversation before sharing artwork and learning
new techniques. I hear every day how much the
class means to our students and I am so proud to
share their creativity and artistry with you! Please
enjoy their artworks"
