' •i i is ConPOP�pO ���\ 508-896-8089 Fax • - 11l11I 11111111\\U www . brewster- ma . gov Minutes of Public Hearing Monday, September 13, 2021 The Brewster Old King' s Highway Regional Historic District Committee, acting under the Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 470, Acts of 1973 as amended , came to order at 7 : 00 pm virtually being recorded at the Brewster Town Hall . Committee members present were Carol Appleton , Steven Bergquist, Patricia Busch , George Carey, Jim Trabulsie ( Chairman ) , and Sara Provos ( Senior Department Assistant ) . Tom Turcketta was absent . SCHEDULED APPLICATIONS= � ' i D-9- 21- 246 James and Adriene Moore, 33 Nathans Pasture Way, Map 114 Lot 33 Demolition of Dwelling ■ Scott Collum of Abacus Building and Remodeling represented the homeowners . ■ Mr . Collum discussed the plans to demolish the existing dwelling which was built in the 1970' s . ■ Patricia Busch moved to accept as presented . George Carey seconded . ■ All voted in favor. H -9-21-247 Robert and Nancy Wynne, 226 Ambergris Circle, Map 49 Lot 11 Addition and Garage ■ Scott Collum of Abacus Building and Remodeling represented the homeowners . ■ Mr . Collum noted that he received approval two ( 2 ) years ago to remodel the home and is now seeking approval to add on to the home . ■ Windows on second floor and throughout the addition will be 6x1 , which will match existing home . j ■ No mulled windows . ■ Stud pockets between windows . ■ Casings and sills on all windows . ■ Carol Appleton moved to accept as presented . George Carey seconded . ■ All voted in favor . i I H -9-21-248 James and Elaine Costales, 21 Thomegan Road, Map 25 Lot 44 Addition and Deck ■ Contractor Sean Thibert of Sean Thibert Home Improvements represented the homeowners . ! ■ Mr . Thibert discussed the plan to add a 20X15 three season room with attached deck to rear of the home . ■ All material ( siding, trim, roof material/color) will match existing home . ■ Windows will have casings, sills and will match the rest of the home . ■ Carol Appleton moved to accept as presented . Patricia Busch seconded . ■ All voted in favor. i 3 1 Brewster Historic District Committee / Minutes of September 13, 2021 Meeting H -9-21-249 Aimee and Barrett Foster, 51 Hillbourne Terrace, Map 115 Lot 20 Roof Mounted Solar Panels ■ Diane Addison from My Generation Energy represented the homeowners . ■ Homeowners, Aimee and Barrett Foster were also present at the meeting . ■ Ms . Addison discussed the landscape plan which was updated to address the visibility of the solar panels from the street . ■ Chairman Trabulsie noted that the landscape plan helps to address the visual impact of the solar panels and feels it will address the criteria of minimal visual impact for roof mounted solar panels . ■ Carol Appleton moved to accept as presented . Patricia Busch seconded . ■ All voted in favor. H -9-21-250 Wayne Lencer and Karen Klein, 92 Herring Brook Lane, Map 36 Lot 4 Roof Mounted Solar Panels ■ Neal Holmgren from Solar Rising represented the homeowners . ■ Mr . Holmgren discussed the plan to install ( 23 ) panels on various roofs . ■ Committee noted that the home is not visible from any abutting property or the main roadway . ■ Steven Bergquist moved to accept as presented .
