FFe°Aronteo, p\\, 508-896-8089 Fax u1niuiiom��a www . brewster- ma . gov -� Minutes of Public Hearing Monday, September 27, 2021 The Brewster Old King' s Highway Regional Historic District Committee, acting under the Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 470, Acts of 1973 as amended , came to order at 7 , 00 pm virtually being recorded at the Brewster Town Hall . Committee members present were Carol Appleton , Steven Bergquist, Patricia Busch , Jim Trabulsie ( Chairman ), and Sara Provos ( Senior Department Assistant ) , George Carey and Tom Turcketta were absent SCHEDi JLD APPA 'fONS H -9-21-255 James and Adriene Moore, 33 Nathans Pasture Way, Map 114 Lot 33 Single Family Dwelling ■ Scott Collum of Abacus Building and Remodeling represented the homeowners . ■ Architect, Michael Hall.y of Michael Hally Design , Inc . was also present at the meeting . ■ Mr. Collum discussed the plans to construct a single-family dwelling . ■ Casings will be 1x4 . ■ Windows will have historic sills . ■ Garage and back door rooftops will have a black metal roof. ■ Gas fireplace to be installed with only have a vent on side of home, no enclosure . ■ Corner boards 1X8 in size will be on the exterior of the first-floor level, but they will not be on the second level . ■ Carol Appleton moved to accept as presented . Steven Bergquist seconded . ■ All voted in favor . ;I S-9-21-256 1 David Dubuque, 2660 Main Street, Map 89 Lot 27 3 Sign ■ David Dubuque was present at the meeting . ■ Existing signposts will remain as is . ■ Mr . Dubuque noted that he is just looking to replacing / rebrand the existing sign . ■ Background color will be cape cod beige / teal . ■ Size of sign will be 3 ' high and 5 ' wide . ■ Sign will be wood . ■ Steven Bergquist moved to accept as presented with corrected measurements on application . Carol Appleton I 3 seconded . ■ All voted in favor . i 1 I 3 3 a i Brewster Historic District Committee / Minutes of September 27, 2021 Meeting H -9-21-257 Steven and Carol Rosner, 26 Stuart Street, Map 69 Lot 71 Roof Mounted Solar Panels ■ Todd Druskat of E2 Solar represented the homeowner . ■ Roof mounted solar panels will be placed on the rear dormer. ■ Chairman Trabulsie noted that the panels will not be visible . ■ Patricia Busch moved to accept as presented . Steven Bergquist seconded . ■ All voted in favor . H-9- 21-258 Jane Goldstein and Thomas Welch , 216 Tower Hill Circle, Map 66 Lot 35 Addition ( 2 ) ■ Jean Bowden of Capizzi Home Improvements was present at the meeting . ■ Designer, Betsy Lawton was also present . ■ Ms . Bowden and Ms . Lawton reviewed the plans with the Committee . ■ Windows for the addition will be 4X1 . ■ If windows are replaced later in the older part of the home, they must be 4X1 to match windows on addition . ■ No mulled windows . ■ Windows will have sills . ■ Sara Provos read into record an abutters letter from Lauren and Peter Zappala . ■ Carol Appleton moved to accept as amended . Patricia Busch seconded . ■ All voted in favor. H -9-21-259 Padraic and Haley Tynan , 87 Sturbridge Way, Map 13 Lot 36 Roof Mounted Solar Panels i ■ Eric Barber of Rooftop Power represented the homeowners . ■ Mr . Barber reviewed the project to install 37 panels on the rear of the home . ■ Panels will be flat black . ■ Chairman Trabulsie noted that the panels will have minimal visual impact on the surrounding areas . ■ Steven Bergquist moved to accept as presented .
